This standard specifies the energy efficiency grades,minimum allowable values of energy efficiency and testing methods of three-phase asynchronous motors,single-phase asynchronous motors and air conditioner fan motors.
This standard is applicable to general motors and general explosion-proof motors of which the power is supplied by 50 Hz three-phase AC power supply,with the rated voltage of less than 1 000 V,the rated power ranging from 120 W to 1 000 kW,2,4,6 or 8 poles,single-speed enclosed fan-cooled type,N design and continuous duty.
