1.1 This standard is the compilation of all terminology developed by Subcommittee D13.63 on Home Furnishings.1.2 This terminology is unique to the Home Furnishings industry. Meanings of the same terms used outside the industry can be found in other compilations in dictionaries of general usage.1.3 In addition to being a specialized dictionary, D7023 is also useful for managing the Subcommittee's terminology.1.4 Terms listed are under the jurisdiction of Subcommittee D13.63.1.5 For the definitions of other textile terms, refer to Terminology D123.1.6 This international standard was developed in accordance with internationally recognized principles on standardization established in the Decision on Principles for the Development of International Standards, Guides and Recommendations issued by the World Trade Organization Technical Barriers to Trade (TBT) Committee.
