4.1 These tests are useful for specification and control purposes during the manufacture, purchase, and use of the magnet-wire enamels, and for determining uniformity of batches.1.1 These test methods cover testing liquid enamel coatings used to produce film-insulated magnet wire.1.2 The values stated in either SI units or inch-pound units are to be regarded separately as standard.
