This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, mark, transport and storage of silicone adhesive used for back rail bonding in terrestrial photovoltaic modules.
This standard is applicable to silicone adhesives for assembly of crystalline silicon double-glass photovoltaic modules and thin-film photovoltaic modules.
This standard is not applicable to silicone adhesives used in photovoltaic modules using triple junction or concentration cells.
