This document specifies the general requirements, ratings, connection interfaces, contact layouts, contact functions, types, structural dimensions and other requirements for DC charging couplers for conductive charging of electric vehicles.
This document is applicable to DC charging couplers with a rated voltage not exceeding 1 500 V DC at a rated current (duration maximum current) not exceeding 800 A.
